WHO WE ARE.
A Legacy of Brotherhood. A Commitment to Service.
Founded on December 4, 1906, at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. is the first intercollegiate Greek-letter fraternity established for African American men. Built upon the principles of scholarship, fellowship, good character, and the uplifting of humanity, Alpha Phi Alpha has cultivated generations of leaders dedicated to making a lasting impact.
Chartered on May 1, 1988, Pi Alpha Lambda Chapter proudly carries this legacy forward in the Bryan–College Station community. As the custodial graduate chapter for Pi Omicron Chapter at Texas A&M University, we are committed to mentoring the next generation of Alpha men while fostering lifelong brotherhood among our members.
Through leadership, mentorship, community engagement, and service, Pi Alpha Lambda continues to uphold the fraternity's enduring motto:
"First of All, Servants of All, We Shall Transcend All."
